Dry Ice Safety

Handling Our Parcel to You:

ESSENTIAL GUIDE

Your order travels with dry ice to keep everything frozen solid from our door to yours.

It's straightforward to handle — just follow the guidance on the right.

Opening the box

There may be a small amount of dry ice left when your order arrives. This is completely normal. Do NOT touch it with bare hands. Use gloves or wrap it in a cloth before handling any packaging it's in contact with.

Handling dry ice

Dry ice is there to do one job: keep your chicken cold in transit. The quantities used are small, so you don't need to worry about ventilation or anything complicated. Just don't let it come into direct contact with skin.

Disposing of dry ice

Leave any remaining dry ice in an open area and it will evaporate on its own. Don't seal it in a container, bag, or bin. It needs space to disappear safely.
